How have you been feeling lately?
For the last few weeks, I’ve been making the time to eat in a healthy way, and get exercise every day.
It hasn’t been easy.
Somewhere I read that whenever you decide to do one thing you’re choosing not to do something else. The idea struck me hard because of its simplicity and truth.
So I’ve been choosing my health and in doing so choosing not to do other things. What are those mysterious other things I wondered? Now after taking the time to shop for specific healthy foods, cook these specific foods, and making a habit of heading to the gym, I think I know what I’ve said no to.
I’ve said no to deep cleaning, laundry, watching movies, and reading for leisure. These are all things I’d like to do, but…
The fact is, I feel really good!
The trade off seems well worth it, and somehow everyone always has clean clothes.
Here’s the moral of the story, and it’s an oldie but goodie, take care of yourself. Take care of yourself, at the expense of getting minor things done. Your health is too important to not have time for,
Plus, when you’re asked the question, “How have you been feeling lately?”, you’ll probably be able to honestly say, I feel really good!
Stylish design ideas I saw this week
This is a great way to quickly add privacy to a room and quiet your dog at the same time.
If you’re thinking of painting a room white like I am consider this color first.
This is such a clever furniture flip! I’ll be on the lookout at thrift stores so I can try this myself.

Think On These Things
I’m encouraged seeing ordinary people, like this women, take on problems in their neighborhoods that noone wants to tackle.
