It’s early, but I love seeing what everyone is doing with Fall seasonal decor right now.
Here’s how I did Fall styling with vintage treasures I recently found.
Oh and by the way, thank you for stopping by!
My blog has always been a place were I want you to be inspired to express yourself through design, and I’m happy you’re here.
Fall Table Styling with Vintage Treasures
Styling home decor for each season doesn’t have to be expensive.
With a little imagination and some inspiration you can decorate an area of your home on a show string.
Thrifting your items really helps to keep costs down.
It also brings whimsy and coziness to your spaces.
What Decor to Use When Styling for Fall
Think outside the box when it comes to home decor.
What items are you drawn to?
What items makes you smile?
Start with these pieces and then expand on your Fall vignette from there.
I shopped the house for Fall inspired pieces for my tray styling.
Do you know what I mean when I say “shop the house”?
I basically wander about looking for things I already have on hand in various areas of our home. Very good for the bank account!
Here’s what I used:
- Tray (thrifted)
- Antlers (naturally shed)
- Pine cones (gathered from our yard)
- Textured ball form (thrifted)
- Vase (thrifted)
- Faux flowers (Michaels)
- Vintage box (thrifted)
- Faux mini pumpkins (Amazon)
- Dried corn (thrifted)
- Candle stick holder (thrifted)
Choose Your Focal Point
If you’re thinking about styling a tray for Autumn first choose your main subject.
For me the vase and faux flowers where the main focus. Everything else surrounded them and added to the picture.
The flower arrangements height makes it a good focal point for this vintage vignette.
Do you know what?!
I’m just know looking at this photo and realized I have a nautical them going on!
The vintage oil painting is of an old ship and the vintage jewelry box has some kind of similar sea vessel on it as well.
So cool!
Never would have thought of a Fall vintage nautical themed vignette.
If I had you can bet I would have scoured Ebay to find an old model ship and then thrown in a little sea glass.
Oh well, next time.
Where to Display Your Fall Vintage Treasures
Deciding where to display your Fall vintage treasures is always the hardest part of styling for me.
If you have a large table you could form a centerpiece with your vignette.
A fireplace mantel is also a great place to decorate with Fall finds.
I choose my buffet (you can see here how I flipped this pretty lady) as the landing spot for my Fall thrift finds.
It was a lot of fun putting this Fall tray together.
As I was working time flew by and that’s a sure sign you’re doing something you love.
Thanks again for visiting! I hope it was fun seeing how I put together my Fall styling with vintage treasures.
Until next time you can find me on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

I love all the neutrals and wonderful fall natural elements. Your small vintage box inside the tray is so unique and adds a bit of fall color. Your buffet with the washed paint finish is absolutely gorgeous. I’ll be coming back to visit again soon. So nice to meet you.
So pretty. Those antlers are such a beautiful and unique touch!
That candle is the pièce de ré·sis·tance! I swear, I took one look at your tray, and immediately thought to myself that somebody could write a seasonal spooky story based on the items on that tray! FABULOUS!
I always enjoy the results of “shopping my home”! I loved the fullness of both the florals and the vase. The antique jewelry box was an unexpected touch. It was fun touring with you.
Maria your tray came out fabulous! I love shopping my home, you never know what you will come up with. I love those real antlers and good call with the dried corn. Happy to be touring with you.

HI Maria! Nice to meet you via the blog hop with Katherine!
I love the antlers and the neutral colors! Looks great! Laura in Colorado
Thank you so much Laura! Hope you have a wonderful weekend friend.
This is great! I love the antler sheds, they are one of my favorite items to use in fall decorating! The neutrals are perfect and the color from the corn adds just the contrast you needed to make your tray pop!
Wasn’t the corn a nice touch against the backdrop of the box? So happy when you shop the house and things come together like that. Have a great weekend Chloe!
What a fabulous tray!! It feels so natural with all of the nature and textural elements that you used. The neutral color palette is stunning! Great to be hopping with you today!
Thank you Rachel! I hope we get to do a hop together again soon.
Maria, what a great tray you chose and using a box on the tray is a wonderful idea. So many Falll elements added to the welcoming spirit of your tray. Lynne
Thank you Lynne, it was really satisfying pulling it all together. Have a great weekend friend!
Maria, as I scrolled through the post, I kept thinking about how I would like to use your ideas. The way you assembled each item plus the choice of your beautiful DIY sideboard where you placed the tray is calming.
Happy October,
Rachelle

Of course Deb, thank you for sharing! Your blog is full of positivity and creative energy, I love it!
I love your tray, so versatile and it looks wonderful overflowing with fall things. The neutral palette is so pretty and a reminder of how colors fade as the fall days go by…I love the open book too, sort of like time is standing still… Shopping your home is always so satisfying, creating something new without buying something new!
Oh I love that sentiment and couldn’t agree more Jenna. Thanks so much!
