DIY Jewelry Tree Stand

by

Wow, wow, wow! I am proud to be in the middle of two very creative and ingenious people, my mother and my daughter. I’ve mentioned Mary before and how we’re working on her bedroom makeover together. I mentioned my mother because she helped us with Elsa’s bedroom makeover. Now the dynamic duo of Mary and Mary Lynn has come together for another project.

This one was Mary’s brainchild. Last Christmas she found a branch and became enamored with the possibilities it held. Yes, she’s my child and dreaming comes naturally to her.

For almost a year she’s kept this branch and used it as a jewelry stand. Isn’t that clever? The problem was it kept tipping over and some of the branches cracked off. She wanted a more permanent solution and she knew just the person to help her with the task. Gamma!

We call my Mom Gamma because when Mary was super little, and the firstborn grandchild, she couldn’t pronounce Grandma, My Mom relished being a first-time Grandma and took the name Gamma as hers.

Anyways, the two of them were quite a pair and kindred hearts. Fast forward all these years later and they’ve enjoyed several crafts together like only they could.

This DIY jewelry tree stand is their latest.

Here’s how they did it.

Do you have jewelry you’d like to keep organized, yet display? This would be a great project. Make sure to save it on Pinterest to remind you to give it a try.

Thanks for being here friends. Leave me a comment if you were inspired by this post!
