If you want to bring a warm and rustic feel to a space, adding thrift store finds to a classic modern home is one of your first steps.
Today I’m so excited to take part in a blog series called Thrifted Goodies. My blogging friends Rachel from The Antiqued Journey and Mary Jo from Master pieces of My Life have invited me to share my recent thrifted goodies and I am honored. It’s so fun to meet other bloggers who value the old and used as much as I do. These two are thrifters after my own heart!
I’ve decided to share a few recent thrift finds that work really well with my classic modern home style. Vintage piece truly are treasures in my eyes, and I enjoy finding ways to make them useful as well as display throughout our spaces.
I hope you’ll click on the links below and explore Rachel and Mary Jo’s thrifted goodies, as well as their beautiful and thoughtful homes.

Adding Thrift Store Finds to a Classic Modern Home
I love mixing modern and vintage pieces. Much like contrasting dark and light colors, the juxtaposition of old and new brings out the best in each.
Vintage items can add such a beautiful personal touch to any space. I’ve talked about here on the blog before, but I’ll say it again.
Much of what I design our home with I’ve found at Thrift stores, on Facebook marketplace and in other second hand places.
Not only can you furnish your home at a fraction of the cost of buying new, thrifting is fantastic for the environment.
Simply put, when you thrift you create a one of a kind home.

Thrifted Kitchen Finds
A few years ago I started thrifting kitchenware and now I’m addicted. No, but seriously I’ve got to slow down.
Whenever I’m out I seem to find yet another beautiful piece that could be used in our kitchen.
I have a soft spot for something pretty and useful.
Thrifted Table Setting Finds
Mealtime is a deeply meaningful tradition for most families. I’ve found some truly beautiful pieces to use for our tablescapes and tables settings.
When my kids are older I hope they’ll treasure the memories these beautiful pieces hold. In the same breath, because I shop second and thrift stores, in our house no piece is too precious to use.
People over things always.
Everything here was thrifted or given a thrift flip, except for the flowers and the DIY lazy Susan I made.
You can find the super easy tutorial for that project here.
Don’t forget to visit the other bloggers and see what thrifted goodies they’ve found this month!
Thanks for stopping by and taking the to get inspired by thrifting.
I appreciate you!
